Student Tutoring
This position provides students the opportunity to learn not only in the classroom environment but also in a hands-on surrounding, from direct contact with an experienced Adult. Our students are offered a wide variety of courses and curriculum. Students learn:
- English

- World History
- Math
- Science
- Carpentry
- Broadcast Media
- Horticulture
- Art & Music

The Youth Mentoring Program
The Youth Mentoring Program at Rancho Cielo Youth Campus emphasizes relationships between unique youngsters and caring adults. The relationship generally involves spending quality time together. The adult mentor provides support and guidance with the aim of helping the young person better negotiate the challenges of life. Mentors can provide words of encouragement, a friendly face and a helping hand. Adults may also choose to become an On-site Mentor. This position ideally engages in daily and/or weekly activities at the Ranch while developing relationships with one or more youth during school hours; activities may be academic or recreational.

Workshops can be a great way to interact with the students. Learning through hands-on experience has proven to be a successful mode of education. Creativity sparks passion and motivation. Being able to share your skill or passion can steer a student in a direction they may not have explored on their own.
Volunteers & Mentors will work one on one with students, and therefore will be required to have a background check administered.
