The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center offers a variety of confidential client services.
Sexual Assault Counselors are available 24 hours a day through MCRCC’s helplines. Please dial 831-424-HELP or 831-375-HELP to speak with a Sexual Assault Counselor.
Every staff member at MCRCC undergoes the necessary training required to provide advocacy to our clients and helpline callers. Our staff do not provide legal advice or representation.
Survivors and significant others determine what is meaningful advocacy for them. MCRCC staff and volunteers respond to requests for advocacy in diverse and survivor-centered ways. This advocacy includes accompanying survivors to forensic medical exams, interviews with law enforcement and the district attorney, and court hearings for sexual assault and child abuse related cases.
Counseling with licensed therapists or registered interns is available to survivors of human trafficking, sexual violence, and child abuse, and significant others. Please contact one of our offices for additional information about any of MCRCC’s services or to make an appointment.
