The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center's new Salinas office is here! We held our open house on November 16, 2022 where advocates, volunteers, community partners and supporters toured our warm and inviting space. The space is located in downtown Salinas close to different agencies and resources like the courthouse and public transportation. This forever home is meant to serve survivors from all throughout Monterey County but specifically survivors in Salinas and South County. MCRCC staff is excited to share this space with our community.
“I can’t wait for folks to walk into our Salinas office and feel so at home, they forget they are in an office!”- Erin, Community Engagement Director.
“Being part of the staff encourages me to grow into my most authentic self so that in return I can help survivors do that for themselves in our new space.” - Gracie, Administrative Assistant.
“The new Salinas office is a beautiful and welcoming space for staff and clients.” - Tiina, Therapist.
“Our new space is so warm and inviting for survivors of all ages and backgrounds. We will continue to do our part of preventing sexual violence in our community, advocating, supporting and healing for survivors. A huge thank you for the continued support of our amazing donors and sponsors who made this new MCRCC home possible. Thank you y muchas gracias por apoyar a sobrevivientes.”- Bianca, Community Engagement Specialist.
